Digital Competences in Teacher Training and Music Education via Service Learning: A Mixed-Method Research Project

This study investigates applied service learning (SL) methodology with the goal of analyzing digital competence in teacher training. Twenty-three preservice teachers completed validated questionnaires regarding both general and specific music as well a self-evaluation SL case complemented by quasi-experimental quantitative pre-post-test comparison. The experience highlighted this paper not only includes application variety didactic, musical, technological knowledge strategies but also emphasizes aspects reflection, analysis, proper use media for personal, educational, social purposes on part students at different educational levels. results indicate that acquired values personal responsibility (82.6% participants) became aware advantages incorporating technologies into classroom (87.5% participants). Moreover, research design provided these an in-depth perspective evaluation its significance.
